About Me

Service is an integral part of my life. It’s woven into how I express love to those most dear to me and how I support my friends and colleagues. And as a former public servant and attorney for more than two decades, it was my mantra and a reminder of one of the reasons I was grateful for my work. I have transitioned from public service but my dedication to service remains through my work as a shaman and energy healer.

I believe in the power of shamanic and energy healing to provide deep healing physically, emotionally, mentally and spiritually. This belief is based on personal experience of more than 15 years as well as the experience of others for whom I have had the privilege to help along their healing journeys.  I was led to spiritual and energetic healing modalities because of mental and emotional pain, unresolved past trauma, and eventually chronic physical illnesses.

Through healing sessions with many practitioners as well as yoga, I began to find mental and emotional balance, ease the pain of past trauma, and dramatically improve chronic illnesses. In essence, the benefits have been profound and helped activate my healing abilities, transform my life, and empower me to pursue my life’s purpose – helping others to heal.

I am trained in the shamanic tools and practices of the Q’ero Tribe of Peru and received most of my training from my esteemed teacher, Paul Sivert, who has been initiated by the most renowned medicine people to practice the energy medicine of South America. I have also received mentorship from Starr Shontere, a Master Shaman who has been gifted shamanic rites by the Q’ero and Shipibo tribes of South America, reiki practitioner, certified yoga instructor and Breathwork facilitator.

I began my reiki practitioner journey in 2007. I am an Usui Reiki, Karuna Reiki®, Sekhem-Seichim Reiki, and Lightarian™ Reiki Master/Teacher. I am also an Integrated Energy Therapy™ (IET) Master-Instructor. I received most of my reiki training as well as my IET training from Reiki Master/Teacher and IET Master-Instructor, David Gleekel. I became an Usui Reiki Master through Reverend Ana Jones, an interfaith minister and master healer.

I am a 500-hour certified yoga instructor. My studies include instruction on marma points as well as Ayurveda.
