Usui Reiki Level 1  – Connecting to Reiki Energy (For Beginners)

The ability to support our healing is within all of us. Since ancient times people have worked with universal life force energy to help heal, using different names and under different traditions. In Japan, people referred to this energy as Reiki – “Universal (Rei) Life Force Energy (Ki)” or “Guided Life Force Energy.” In 1922, Dr. Mikao Usui spontaneously received Reiki and, recognizing the quality of its ability to heal, sought to share Reiki. Dr. Usui developed the Usui System of Reiki Natural Healing, a foundation for many Reiki systems practiced today. Reiki is a gentle, but powerful energy healing technique that helps us tap into the universal life force energy to support the body’s natural ability to heal. After being attuned, a Reiki practitioner accesses the universal life force energy, drawing it through their hands and applying the hands to themselves or others to help restore balance in mind, body and spirit.

The benefits of Reiki are numerous; so much so that the recognition of its ability to support healing has grown beyond those who are energy healers or alternative medicine practitioners. Reiki has been clinically studied, and the medical community is taking notice of its benefits, leading to an increasing number of Reiki practitioners involved in medical settings. Reiki can help decrease stress, improve sleep, reduce pain, increase emotional balance and mental clarity, and improve potential outcomes of cancer therapy, among other benefits.

If you’re interested in experiencing the benefits of Reiki to support your own personal healing and the healing of others, this Usui Reiki Level 1 training might just be for you.

In this Usui Reiki Level I training, you will:

• Learn Reiki history and principles
• Learn ethical/legal guidelines
• Learn hand positions for healing yourself and others, with a strong emphasis on self-healing
• Receive Reiki Level I attunement to the flow of Reiki energy
• Practice self-healing
• Understand the basics of the energy body and chakras
• Learn techniques for integrating Reiki into daily life and spiritual practice
• Become a certified Reiki I Practitioner

This training is ideal for beginners curious about Reiki; healers, coaches, and wellness practitioners; people seeking stress relief and self-care tools; those exploring spiritual growth; and anyone who wants to support loved ones through healing touch.

Usui Reiki Level 2  – Connecting to Sacred Symbols (Intermediate)

This training deepens your connection to Reiki and expanding your ability to facilitate healing for yourself and others.  Reiki Level 2 is where you become connected to the sacred symbols that increase the power of Reiki. These symbols become additional tools in your “Reiki toolbox” to expand your ability to support healing yourself and others physically, mentally, and emotionally. You will also learn to use Reiki across time and space through distance (non-local) healing. Reiki Level 2 training is ideal for those who feel called to deepen their personal practice or to begin offering Reiki professionally. Reiki Level 2 often marks a profound shift in one’s personal and spiritual development. As your connection to Reiki deepens, you may experience greater clarity, heightened intuition, emotional healing, and an expanded capacity to support others on their healing journeys.

During this immersive training, you will:

• Review Reiki Level 1 techniques and hand positions
• Receive the Reiki Level 2 attunement
• Learn and work with the three Reiki Level 2 symbols
• Discover how to send Reiki across time and space through distance (non-local) healing
• Explore mental and emotional healing techniques
• Learn methods for conducting Reiki sessions for clients, friends, and family 
• Learn techniques for integrating Reiki into daily life and spiritual practice 
• Practice self-treatment and giving reiki to others using the Reiki Level 2 symbols
• Receive additional information on the chakra system and underlying causes of illness
• Learn ethical/legal guidelines
• Become a certified Reiki Level 2 Practitioner

This training is for Reiki Level 1 practitioners; healers, coaches, and wellness practitioners ;and people seeking to deepen their connection to Reiki and expand their Reiki practice, perhaps even professionally.

** Recommend that attendees have practiced Reiki Level 1 for at least 21 days prior to attending this training.

Usui Reiki Level 3 Certification Training (Master Practitioner)

Reiki Level 3 is a profound invitation to deepen your relationship with Reiki and step more fully into your path as a healer, practitioner, and spiritual being. Often referred to as the Master Practitioner level, this training is designed for those who feel called to expand their Reiki practice, strengthen their energetic presence and self-mastery, and embody the principles of Reiki at a deeper level.

Building upon the skills and techniques learned in Reiki Levels 1 and 2, this advanced training introduces the Reiki Master symbol, which moves the Reiki healing energy into the spiritual levels, and explores its powerful applications for healing, personal growth, and spiritual development.

During this transformative training, you will:

• Learn the Reiki Master symbol and its uses
• Receive the Reiki Level 3 (Master Practitioner) attunement
• Deepen your connection to Reiki energy and spiritual awareness
• Explore advanced Reiki techniques and healing practices 
• Receive the written process for how to give Reiki I, II, & III attunements to others and teaching it to friends and family non-professionally
• Learn practices for personal empowerment, self-healing, and spiritual growth
• Engage in hands-on practice
• Learn ethical/legal guidelines
• Become a certified Reiki Level 3 Master-Practitioner

This training is for: Reiki Level 2 practitioners; practitioners who seek to deepen their Reiki practice and explore its powerful applications for healing, personal growth, and spiritual development; and practitioners seeking to prepare for future teacher training.

Prerequisite: Reiki Level 2 Certification

Usui Reiki Master-Teacher Training

Following the Reiki Level 3 Master Practitioner training, if you are interested in teaching Reiki professionally, you may pursue additional training with Krystal. In the Usui Reiki Master-Teacher Training, you will learn how to teach all levels of training and how to create a professional practice. This training integrates traditional and modern forms and uses of Reiki. Upon completion of the training, you will be a certified Usui Reiki Master-Teacher.

Shamanism Certification Classes

At Krystal Healing Arts, the shamanic training programs are designed to support both personal transformation and professional growth. Whether you're seeking to deepen your own spiritual practice or feel called to bring shamanic healing to others, this progressive certification pathway provides the knowledge, experience, and guidance to help you grow with confidence.

Your journey begins by building a strong personal foundation through the creation of your own medicine wheel mesa and developing a meaningful relationship with the teachings and practices of shamanism. As you continue your training, you'll expand your skills through advanced practitioner courses that deepen your understanding of ceremony, energy medicine, and healing work in service to others as a Shamanic Practitioner.

Each level of training will build upon the last, allowing you to integrate the teachings through personal practice, hands-on experience, and spiritual development. Upon successful completion of each course, you'll receive a certificate recognizing your achievement and continued progress along the certification pathway.

Essentials of Shamanism

Whether you're just beginning to explore shamanism or looking to deepen an existing spiritual practice, this course provides a foundation in shamanic healing and energy medicine. No prior experience is required, and students from all backgrounds are welcome. Many participants are new to shamanism, while others come with experience in Reiki, energy healing, or other spiritual traditions and are seeking to expand and enrich their practice.

Throughout this experiential program, you’ll learn foundational shamanic teachings and practical healing techniques that can support your personal growth, spiritual development, and service to others. At the heart of this work is cultivating a deeper awareness of yourself, your connection to Spirit, and the Andean principle of Ayni—living in sacred reciprocity and balance with all of life.

Topics explored include the human energy field, shamanic journeying, Andean cosmology, energy medicine, ceremony and ritual, and practical methods for working with spiritual guidance. You'll learn to journey to the Lower, Middle, and Upper Worlds, create your first healing mesa, and receive Rites of the Munay Ki and Ayni Karpay as part of your training.

Two registration options are available to meet your learning goals.

Option 1: Scheduled Group Class in Fall-Winter 2026/2027 (10 Classes, every other week) (dates and details announced shortly)

Option 2: Individual Classes with Krystal (6 two-hour classes that work with your schedule) (Beginning Fall 2026(dates and details announced shortly))

Following completion of the course, you will receive a certificate of completion.

This course is a pre-requisite course to more advanced certification classes, which will be scheduled for 2027.

Energetic Protection Practices for Healing Practitioners

2-Hour Workshop

As healing practitioners, we naturally open ourselves to serve others with compassion, presence, and intention. While this work is deeply rewarding, it also requires us to maintain healthy energetic boundaries and practices that support our own well-being. Protecting your energy is not about fear or creating barriers—it is about cultivating clarity, resilience, and a strong connection to your own center so you can remain a clear and effective channel for healing.

This experiential two-hour workshop is designed for Reiki practitioners, energy healers, shamanic practitioners, and anyone who regularly works with clients in a healing or helping capacity.

During this workshop, you will learn practical energetic protection techniques that can be incorporated into your daily practice. Together we will explore how to establish healthy energetic boundaries, recognize when your energy has become depleted or entangled, and develop routines that help you stay grounded, balanced, and energetically clear.

Topics include:

• Understanding energetic boundaries and why they matter
• Grounding and centering practices
• Preparing yourself energetically before working with clients
• Techniques for maintaining a clear healing space during sessions
• Releasing and clearing energy after client work
• Working with intention, visualization, and energetic shielding
• Cleansing and protecting your healing space and tools
• Developing a sustainable self-care practice to prevent energetic fatigue and burnout
